New from construction machinery company, CAT, comes the CAT S60 smartphone. What makes the CAT S60 unique is its built-in FLIR thermal imaging camera, which boasts a range of applications – for fishers and campers, namely ones regarding safety.
The S60’s touch-screen has been designed to respond to touch with gloves on, or when wet – the latter failure being a constant irritation for fisherman and boaties. Fitted with an SOS button, it’s waterproof (up to 60 minutes in five metres) and drop-proof design (up to 1.8 metres) ensures it stays safe even in the most rugged of conditions. The S60 is tipped to last up to 43 days on standby, with 30 hours of continuous talk-time.
