Whitebaiting in South Westland….2005 proved to be an excellent season and we filmed a couple of great characters on their stand in the deep south.

Snapper on “The Gulf”…a beautiful evening at Anchorite Rock. Finding this out of the way spot is one thing but learning to fish it is something else. Derek with the catch of the day.

Stewart Island…An introduction to this amazing adventure playground. The first part in a series of three shows which see the charter vessel “Jewel” circumnavigating the island. We leave Riverton and spend a day working our way down to Easy Harbour. Diving and fishing at its best.

Stewart Island…We cruise the mutton bird islands, film Fiordland crested penguins, dive for crays, catch some massive blue cod and anchor for the night in Port Pegasus.

Arnhemland Barramundi Nature Lodge…We fly north of Darwin and explore one of Australias most isolated and breathtakingly beautiful pieces of real estate. The crew safari camp and spend our days in search of big “barra”. Day one is our introduction to crocs and precision casting.

A day on the Blyth. The Blyth River is unbelievable. I couldn’t believe how many big fish there were in this place. Both Sandee and I had an absolute ball. This is why people dream about barramundi fishing. It doesn’t come much better than this.
