Black Magic Maggot XT Game Lures

The Maggot XT series takes Black Magic’s famous Maggot lure to a whole new level. The improved resin heads are almost indestructible and feature high UV reflective eyes. The head colours vary to suit the skirt combinations and include paua effects and luminous inserts. There are 10 skirt colour combinations to choose from. Maggot XT’s are a ‘straight running’ cup faced lure and their weighted heads mean they run well in most sea conditions, which is important given New Zealand waters can be a little on the rougher side at times. If you choose to buy them pre-rigged, they utilise Black Magic’s 200lb Tough Trace and Japanese made 8/0 game hooks (closed gape). Black Magic Maggot XT’s are deadly on yellowfin and blue fin tuna, but they’ll also attract marlin, mahimahi and wahoo.
