Sad news, an icon of 'Barrier', George Mason, passed away on Nov 29th.
Many people will know and remember Georges voice on the air waves of Channel 1 VHF Marine Radio. Gt. Barrier Radio.
He was the man who sorted out many a dilemma, for countless people over the years and was well known for his ability to remember names, places and events.
You will be missed George, but you will not be forgotten.
R.I.P. Dear old George.
A notice will be placed in the NZ herald, advising of the place and date of a service to be held.
