Presients Reports August 2001
The Westpac Trust Interclub is now (after 4 long years) back on the right side of the harbour.
It was a superb team effort . A total of 46 boats and 126 anglers on the water for the Mount Club.
Some outstanding individual fish were taken, but perhaps more importantly the force of numbers filled in more gaps than Tauranga to give our club the overall victory.
No doubt the favourable weather contributed to our success. But with 44% of the boats and 43% of the registered anglers the result was very meritorious.
Wayne (Sparky) did a great job organising the tournament and special thanks to Barbara, Trish & Griff for weigh station duties.
The Yellowfin and Albacore sweep starts on the 1st September so lets see if we can get another high participation in this event.
