Accurate Reels, working alongside Kane Tapper from DFS Tackle in New Zealand, have come up with the Mutant GT series of BX400xn, BX500xn, BX600xnn reels. Ideal for mechanical jigging, slow pitch, casting and bottom fishing, these reels can be custom-tuned.
Designed to fish under the rod, narrow spools mean there is no need for a level wind. The Mutants have cast control, so cast well. Three gear-ratio choices are available: 4.1:1, 5.1:1 and 6.1:1. As well, there are three handle length and three knob type choices.
All models can output 15kg of drag pressure and other features include 17-4 heat-treated stainless gears, CNC-machined 6061 T6 aluminium parts and sealed BX AR bearings.
