2000/2001 Season

The 2000/2001 fishing season is now over. Looking back it appears the Club had a successful year. All of the contests, bar the Easter Snapper Tournament, were able to be held on their original dates and practically every Competition boasted record entries. This is a trend we hope will carry on.

Some nice Tuna were landed this season but as far as Game Fish went that was about it. A Snapper weighing just over the magic 20lb mark is the best Snapper for the season with numerous others in the 5-9kg range, a fair percentage of these coming off the rocks. Kingfish haven't been as prevalent as other seasons but a couple of respectable fish have graced the scales.

We hope to see you all in the new season and at the Prizegiving Saturday 18th August 6.30pm.
