Hi all,

I've given my old jig rod to a mate to get him into the sport and he needs a reel to match up to it. It's a 200g Monster Mesh Max Daiwa and I ran a PE5 on it which went ok but was a little bigger than it needed to be imo. I'm telling him to go PE4 but he's not keen on dropping a grand on a reel at the moment so wanting advice on some of the cheaper options out there ? Any advice from anyone else with this rod ?
