Tuff and powerful new reel of performance that put Stellas and Saltigas to shame. Made in Australia and cost third as much as the Shimano and Daiwa. I have used all high end reels in the past and saw them break to pieces fighting real big fish. I bought a sniper reel and never touched a saltiga or a stella again. The new Brawn is made to be head and shoulder above the sniper. Best materials and genius design by a dedicated engineer and a fisherman who wants to bring high end reels to everyone without breaking the bank.

Finished weight of 12000 size is less than 800 grams (28 ounces) and holds 1km (1100 yards) of 50 lb braid
Designed for deep dropping, large dogtooth tuna, marlin and large bluefin tuna.
Magnetic bail lock (no springs)
Magnetic drag clicker (no springs)
C6191 bronze gears, stainless steel pinion gear all machined
Factory limited drag 30kg (66lb) (bench load test line pressure 50kg (110lb)
Fully sealed, and oil filled
10 x SS bearings
5 x ertalyte bearings
Designed to be service free, 3000hrs of 10 Nm of shaft load @ 3000rpm, gear life.
That means 3000 hours of hauling fish before major over haul required
Completely CNC machined from 6061, 7075 and 630 SS materials (no plastic parts, no die cast parts)
Low rotating mass (minimal inertia start up, and stop) (spins up very quickly, and stops instantly without inducing gear stresses)
Dynamically balanced rotor assembly, by specialist turbine manufacturer
Meaning the reels feeling is instantly responsive, and less tiring to use than reels with heavy weighted rotors, without sacrificing strength
And of course designed and made in Australia by Tuff Tackle Pty ltd

Haha Nice Kev,
I been reading the 360 and fish wrecked forums on tuff tackle and they certainly don't post a rosy picture of them. I'm thinking If they really want credibility then give the boys from Epic a couple to test.

Search the 360Tuna site before you even think about buying one of these.

Don't know anything about the reel but the first line is worrying.

I've used/owned both Stellas and Saltigas...and to claim that a new reel has put them both to shame. That's a huge claim to make.

what a cool looking reel, if they are as good as you claim please send 4 that can take a minimum of 400yrds or more of either 50 or 80lb braid, as you have described if as good as you say then they can handle marlin and sharks, I await your reply with anticipation.
