West Coast Striped Marlin Fishing

It was one of those summers that will live long in memory, the kind where everything lined up. From Manukau to Taranaki, the west coast came alive. The sea was rich with life, the weather finally played its part, and marlin, more than we had seen in years, poured into the coast.

For us, it was a season to remember. We tagged and released over 60 marlin, shared countless days on the water with friends and family, and made memories that will last a lifetime. But as good as our fishing was, the real story ran much deeper than one crew or one boat. The magic stretched the entire length of the coast, touching every club, ramp and harbour that faces into that restless Tasman Sea.
