Simrad AutoTrack

Simrad recently introduced the new AutoTrack feature for its HALO 2000 and HALO 3000 Radars. The new feature brings automated tracking that automatically detects, tracks, and prioritises moving vessels and other targets, enhancing situational awareness and improving on-water safety. This new feature is enabled by default with the latest software updates and seamlessly overlays vessels and potential hazards, providing intuitive visual references along with their trajectories within the radar app. Even when the radar screen is not in use, AutoTrack remains vigilant, delivering a smart, dynamic widget that shows only the most critical, intelligently prioritised alerts, with the ability to track targets up to 24 nautical miles away and monitor up to 50 objects simultaneously.
