Strayline. tie a hook to the end of your line and put some bait on it. doesn't get any easier than that. Maybe a small weight above the hook to help it get down through the bait fish in your berley.

and if you want to get slightly more technical try mainline (10-15kg) ----- joining knot or swivel--- 1-2meter flurocarbon leader (10-20kg) ------ 5-8/0 hook or two depending on bait and fish you are targetting.
