I used that product (or one very similar) when my 12 year old accidently put the hedge trimmer through the side of the para pool (when trying to help).

It is still holding water 6 months later...

Funny was just looking at the videos of the patch and tin stuff
Also yesterday was the same stuff in a aerosol tube dispenser.. no video.

Its not cheap.. those boats use a lot of tape.. $22 for think was 5'  (about 1.5 m)

Also heard a couple ppl use it over the last few yrs...
And the liquid to insulate/ new grips on tool handles, screw driver shafts... electricians

Got a couple leaks in the water jets of the spa pool after our move...thinking either something like that or urethane.
Maybe that stuff is a urethane???

Interestingly we’re moving house shortly but leaving the Spa pool, builder son in Law mention that moving can lead to leaks due to flexing pipes.
I’ve used the black self amalgamating tape from Bunnings on sinks and found it great.
A boat painter I know calls it Milionaires tape as it’s not cheap...

I ordered a roll (available in three colours) & a can of the liquid sealer (also 3 colour options) as figured would be worth the relatively steepish price, in an emergency situation.
Delivery is rather protracted being approx. 2nd week of September.
