Righto everyone here're the dates for this year Summer Series Comps.

These are shore dive comps with a five fish list designed for fun rather than glory and are open to all levels of ability/experience.

Basically you bowl up to the registration in the morning go out diving for the day then come back for a bbq, couple of beers, tell some lies and get a few prizes.  Entry is free.

Auckland 20th Feb - Registration Wild Blue
Kaikoura 27th Feb - Registration Dive Kaikoura
Wellington 20th March - Registration Splash Gordons

Does each fish have to be gutted and gilled?
Is there a minimum weight per fish?
When does the competition finish and is it  anywhere(shore dive)?

I did one of these last year & it was a blast! -Especially the beers, BBQ & prizes (Thanks Matt). Basically you & your buddy register at the shop at 08:00, grab the fish list & head off diving... Where you go is up to you bearing in mind that you have to be back at 16:00 so if you drive to the Coramandel you only have about 3 hours of diving before you need to head so the choice is yours...

Yep gutted and gilled.  No minimum weights just have to be legal.  You can go anywhere you like but you must be back by 4pm.  All will be covered at registration.
