Hello Everyone, 

I am wondering is there any specific location that I can go and catch lot's of Koi carp ???

Is there any Team or group of people I can go with happy to share the cost ?

Your input will be highly appreciated .

There are heaps of koi in the Waikato river south of Auckland. Search for Hoods Landing and check the area out on Google Maps. There are big roadside drains around there with big numbers of koi and they are in the river itself.
Best gurnard fisherman in my street

You can, but you have to be clever about cooking and preparation. They are eaten in Asia and eastern Europe. Most people in the rest of the world would turn their noses up at the thought of eating carp. That said, there is more to fishing than catching a feed. Look at how much effort is put in to marlin fishing. Not the best eating fish by some margin.
