Dan and I venture into a lower North Island back country river in search of "spotted gold" and were not disappointed with what we found. Some great conditioned browns up to 6.5lb on dry fly and nymph in simply stunning surroundings.

A huge day in extremely tough terrain, this is just some of the action we encountered "when time stands still"...

FishB8, using #12 wullfs and #16 tungsten black-bead pheasant tails, fairly standard back country fare for me.

Geez Andrew ........

Just when we were thinking your past video clips could not be improved on, you prove us all wrong by coming up with this .... bloody hell you never cease to amaze mate !
Never try to google medical advice as I went from having a mild head cold to being clinically dead after only 3 clicks !

Absolutely, no point complicating things with "bling" just for the sake of it!
