Guys I need some advice from you lot , I want to build a soft plastic rod , I want to use it on our Red Emperor , fish size up to 10 kg , also I want to go with a CTS Blank , and built for spin , what would you recommend , as I am new to plastics , Reel Saragosa 8000 .

That's a big reel for soft baiting. 4000 is a good size. I got a 6-8kg 7ft rod nice match

Elite Mag Spin - either SS663 or ES664 if you want a 6'6" or ES703 ES704 if you want 7'
most of the softbait rods I build and/or use are 6-8kg - so the 664 (704) would suit that .  I still love 4-6kg tho - more sporting - so the 663 (703)  would suit that.
that is a pretty big reel for softbaiting as Clint said ... lighter the better !!!

I have a couple of elite mag spins that are 7'65" 8-10kg very nice blanks that have a lode of power and cast a mile just make sure you use the right guidesWink

Thanks for the info guys , I have a Gosa 4000 . so reel is sorted , Blank I will get  the ES665 ,    and I will get a ES 666  ,  guides I will use will be the Alps BVXZG s , starting with a [ 30 ] , and PE5 I think the blank you are looking for is the ES 705 .
