My neighbours did good at Peach cove yesterday evening upon sunset, on baits, got a good haul of snapper, in fact were throwing them back as the bin was full... so they bought home a good feed and stopped well before their limit.

Good on them for limiting their catch eh?Clap

yeah you were spot on it seems..

the thing is its not funny..  although I get your point it drives me insane how little people seems to care about it.

I remember the mussels around Ngahau Bay once upon a time, oceans of them. My old man was fishing from the rocks there one day he saw 30 guys coming and going along the beach gathering for what looked like a hui over a few hours..  when I went back to check it out a few weeks later there wasn't a mussel to be found.
Totally stripped, 20 years later it is still not even close to what it once was. There were literally thousands of massive mussels...  now you'd be lucky to find a few to fill your dinner bowl.

If I see dudes doing that today I wont hesitate to report them to coastguard or even police.

anyway, sorry about the rant.

back to the fishing lads, sorry I have nothing to report guys the fishing in sweden is ****, but look after the coastline aye fellas?

Legasea Legend, the rest of you should be too, $10 a month.

No luck sorry Dave. Old friend in Tauranga already has dibs on it and I will probably be taking the HDS10 back out if (yeah right) I upgrade the boat so will want to re-install old one.
