Anyone out this way thingking of day dropping for swords in the next couple of months at all?
And does anyone know how far south the comms have got any broadys out on this side? Cheers

Good to know Crazy Horse. Surely around the trench looks like a very likely spot in my eyes anyways. Have you nailed any out this side before mate?

will be trying at the trench area sometime soon. they were there july last year.

you targeting them privately or with clients Dave? I cant help thinking that working together with at least couple boats in the same area with double the lights, bait ,activity would have to be an advantage. definitely keen to work a couple of potentially good looking patches off rags/kawhia as weather allows, Warricks fish was caught on a blue nose rig and during the day from what Ive heard,and Im suspecting probably on a blue nose getting hauled in... bath charts and other data suggest they are there. we workeddeep baits last weekend..12, 13 and 14th (new moon weekend)out from mercury bay for one shark one maybe, plenty of squid and stack loads of gemfish (on smaller baits). are gem fish generally associated with sords??
