what has happened to our comp we were trying to organise for last year ... i recon we need to get onto this and set another date and location..

should have a week of discussions about where we want to fish and dates that would best suit for tides etc.

Some time in early-mid March would be awsome, the fishing will be real hot around this time and im sure everyone will be keen as to get out and meet up.

Thoughts??????????......
here fishy, fishy fishy.....

My thoughts....do it! Big%20smile

If alot of people are keen then could make it a bigger area than the one planned last year and make a central meeting place fo weigh in at like 3 or 4pm

thats what i am thinking ...  my views on Tawharanui are not the greatest...its an awsome area, but what ever it is (over fishing or something else) it hasnt treated me well at all in the past ..

so maybe we should look to coro for a weekend, if everyone is keen as... people will put the effort in i am sure!!!

i dont think the prizes are the big deal ... its just meeting people and sharing a wickid weekend of fishing with the LBG forum guys...

im sure some good ideas will come up this week as to what we should do for it ...  share your thoughts!!!!!
here fishy, fishy fishy.....

I wasnt thinking quite that far afield but  if people are keen to go away then why not.

I was thinking like greater auckland area, say as far as ti point in the north and kawakawa bay in the south. Or say from the bridge north to ti-point with a weighin say at Albany?

Just ideas anyway. I wont be there Cry

Early March could be out for me, but here's an idea which works for the land based club. Why not rent a batch at say Port Charles, Port Jackson or Little Bay and everyone stay there. Or stay at Anglers Lodge!
Then have a small in house comp in the immediate area. That way, guys get to socialise before and after fishing. Coro is a great choice, cause if the weather turns out to be average, there is 2 different coasts to choose.
INOV8A out.

Dang that's a good idea there INOV8A

The Takatu challenge fell thru due to poor weather I think.

I would be in for the coro idea Bungel, most likely make a team with Deacs. As long as its not the w/e of the 24th March i'll be sweet I think, provided soccer hasnt started then,...
