There are a lot of you out there with the Shimano Starlo Stix Snapper Squidgy 7'6" 5-8kg 2pc that have experencied the graphite "BAD" syndrome and broken the tip sections. Whilst Shimano will replace these in most cases there are some that won't come under warranty for various reasons. If you wish to turn what is a great Softbait rod into a Starlo Steriod Stix we have an option for you. We have sucsessfully grafted a GT-R 6-8kg tip section onto the bottom section of the standard Starlo Stix base (The one's with the split cork butt grips) While you won't get a complete Synit GT-R you will get the tip section business end that will take point loading, sideways loading, and one hell of a lot of punishment, it will outlast, outcast, and out perform any other graphite rod in its weight class on the market. The colour is nude graphite, which is unpainted dark matt gray colour, we inox or bee's wax them similar to the Daiwa nude graphite rods, it comes with fully under and overbound bindings in metalic Blue/Black with silver nips to match the exsisting Starlo base section, the guides are  all double foot deep pressed frames with Titanium Oxide inserts (light and strong). 

 

The price would be less than the price of new Starlo Stix, the technology, design and materials of the GT-R graphite ain't cheap but hey 1/2 a GT-R is better than getting a rod with normal graphite in the tip section especially if it's just gonna do the same thing again.
