This would have to be my most epic fish on softbait.
1 hour 30 minutes fight time and towed for over 3 km.
Caught on a Daiwa hyper rod and Freams 3000 reel.
Love fishing, love my job. It's a bloody shame that they clash.

First fish on plastic. Taken on a lime tiger. Not a big one but stoked all the same.

I've used Berkeley Gulp Baits with continued success in saltwater.  I rig them weedless.  The best colors have been new penny, and pearl white.  The 5" inch jerk shad in those colors consistently produces results.  If anyone has any questions about the rigging or use, please ask.

That's great thanks Josh but I have removed the link to your business as we have paid sponsors on this site. Smudge

Yeah a new PB on softplastic, one hell of a scrap maxing out the gear and then some, the fish behaved itself and allowed me to gain line at the right times.  Big ups to the man who grabbed the fish at the boat for me, impressive stuff chocolate!!

Oh and the trevs came too, was an awesome session.
Lads with a triple hook up...oh and skip battling with a funny looking snapperLOL

Last weekend...

Rod : Synit razor
Reel: Daiwa 3000 lexa
Bait: Zman new penny
Boat: Moet

Caught at anchor while cubing for trevs.  Thought this fish was worthy of a few bite marks on the only rod that could have landed this fish for me...
