UK is also having an amazing run of Atlantic bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus). Not a place you'd associate with big game fishing. Apparently, it was a historical fishery that got wiped out and now it's back!

I have contacts in the UK that basically fish for them from the shore - hundreds of meters off the beach.
