Very well done and wicked trip lads. Clap

What was the wind, swell height and sea state on your day? Dead

Certainly not for the faint hearted unless the weather window day opens. Ouch

Why choose either diving or fishing when you can do both. Besides crayfish tail is very good bait!!

Never been on Sarge's boat but seem much better than my RB charter experience (twice),
both time came home empty handed and tired.

Coastal Fishing Charters is pretty special - be like Nike and Just Do It!

I had a puka get hit by a shark half way up. It was just too much for me with the big drag and had to hand over to Arron and after a lot of swearing a bronzie est 150kg came to the boat. Bugger that with 15kg or more of drag.

The Team!

Skoti, Arron, me, Neil, Kitno & Jeremy. All past or present FNet members apart from my 'neighbour' Jeremy who is a FNet stalker. Deckie Lucas was awesome as was Sarge the skipper.

Right now I'm very happy to have aching arms Big smile

Was such a cool trip, it helped having a bunch of guys that all got on well together - even if Big Skoti started hitting on all the boys after changing into 'something more comfortable'. Funny how people change after 19 or 20 rums Big smile, joking of course but I do hope none of the pics or videos from the after match show up on here.

Catch of the Day for Kitno Big smile

Jeremy with another good hapuku

Arron nabs a new species that we've both had on our hit list for years. Have just had some of this for dinner - very nice with a texture similar to kahawai

Kitno with a double header - what a show off!

Waiting for the story.
The suspense is killing me.
Wondering what size chilly bin they had. Wouldn't fit in any of mine. Might have had to chuck someone over the side to fit it in the boat.
