Next weekend is the Australian Elections with The ARFP putting up 5 candidates in Tasmania.
Hopefully at least one candidate will get elected.
With at least 1 candidate(if elected)they will then be able to sit (rightfully)at the table and join the negotiating for Tasmanian recreational fisherman. No more sitting at the table holding hands singing kumbya.

we need that song banned here as well

but a song here

Yes, how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Yes, how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky ?
Yes, how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry ?
The People Protest

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

The result is in and no they did not get a seat But manged to swing voters to vote labour who are anti super trawlers. The liberals 3 stooges who want the super trawler lost their seats, was it because the fishing party made public aware of the problems?3 seats got them 16% of the vote,so not a bad effort
