Marligator wrote: Calcal - go into Decoro's and get some of Uncles Terakihi rigs which have tiny little recurve hooks they are deadly, all I use for bait is small bits of squid, skippy, pipi or slimey mackeral. Also I just use my soft bait outfits even in 70m of water, with these small hooks as soon as you feel a bite just lift the rod (not a jerk just a firm lift) and 9/10 times you will hook them nicely in the corner of the mouth. Can even just leave them in the rod holder and they hook themselves. |
