shot out to our usual hunting ground yesterday morning,   lots of snapper 27-31.... some slightly larger ones came on the chew later in the morning, probably when the burley had drawn them in closer to us.  Managed a nice condition kingi just under a metre on a live Kohi.    Christina got utterly smoked by a large snapper, then I managed to land this one going 70cm.

Came across a lot of skippies on the way home and grabbed 1 to add to the assortment in the icebin.  brought in 5 snapper, 4 kahawai, 4 Kohi's, 1 kingi, 1 skippy.

There's been a lot of chat on social media and we aren't too happy about it especially since we all know that any revenue gathered won't be spent on the facilities.  Usual crap, no discussion with interested parties and what about the freedom campers, are they going to pay as well?

Good session in 10m off Matakana on Saturday morning. Fished the usual area just noth of the banks.

Off the ramp by 6am and headed in at 9.15am. Managed to miss the morning mayhem at the ramp both ways.

Stray lining over berley was slow but steady, current was pretty slow. 9 snaps to 56cm a gurnard a good trev and a kahawai came home. Put a couple of good trevs back because we had plenty by then.
Simon's situation was grave so he used gravy.
