Santa is going to be a little down on horsepower this year so he may be a little late. Literally 5 minutes from the end of our walk I saw this big fallow buck only 100m away.

The 7mm RM dropped it easy peasy. Too much rifle? Yep, but as the saying goes it's all about shot placement. That goes for the big gear as much as it does for the smaller stuff.

Only problem was I couldn't stand up with it on my back Embarrassed. A couple of milk tankers worth of Lion Brown over my 62 years may have put paid to that Big smile. Luckily my mate is in better shape and he carried it while I struggled to keep up carrying two rifles. Sort it out Smudge!

Probably done Santa a favour??

7. Blitzen

Blitzen also used to go by a strange name: Blixem (Dutch for lightning). Having a name like Lightning comes off as more than a little agro and makes the other reindeer uncomfortable, which is textbook toxic masculinity and has no place in wholesome present delivery.

Shot Smudge!

I hear Santa is resting up and having a relaxing game of scrabble before heading out - did you flick him some backsteaks?

Grunta, Santa can have a sandwich and a glass of milk as he has for the last 62 years from my family. He shouldn't be in this for the money Big smile
