Just wondering who here is using the Simrad evo2 units. and have they had problems with them.

We have had ours just over 2 years and its starting to play up.

The plotter has been playing up .. deleting waypoints and tracks.

Took it to the dealer today... he took it out the back to fire up. He came back 20 mins later and said GPS seemed to be ok..
Then the guy causually told me the sonar wasnt working.. even though  it had been 2 days ago when we switched it off !!

WTF?!!

He couldnt explain anything about why or what was going on..

Has anybody else had anything similar happen to their units?

Cheers J

I’ve an evo2 16 s5100 tm275 4g and a few other bits. Happy to help out and have enough playing with them to help a bit.

A few things
1) have you done latest software updates
2) have you run out of memory space - I’ve done this and lossibg data is a symptom.
3) have you give the help line a bell
4) what’s your battery power like?
5) is your data cards in right?
6) are all plugs pushed in and not loose

What’s your system and info on it. Software update etc

Cheer
