I'm planning a trip to Thailand next year with my partner and am keen to get some diving and fishing in.
I already have my Open Water, so am considering doing my Advanced whilst he does his OW, and then we'd go and do a few days on a liveaboard to explore the area a bit more.

I'm interested to know if anyone else has had any experiences with dive operators (PADI or SSI, I'm not fussed) over there. I'm looking at going from Koh Tao and diving the Similan Islands.

In terms of fishing, I'm keen to do some topwater and/or chasing sailfish on spinning gear. Whilst there is always TripAdvisor (which has been helpful so far), I'm keen to get opinions from Kiwi fishos who might have done this themselves.

TIA 👍🏼
