Picked up a few Jigs in Torpedo7 sale today.

I spotted some River to sea "sea rock300" and grabbed a couple as they are only $7.00 each unrigged.

Anyone tried these?

They are an odd shape, but the price is good.

I also grabbed a few more traditional looking jigs at good prices.

You are so right.

Ran out newyears eve to fish instead of drink (we did take a couple).

Hit a workup and had a 12kg kingie in the boat literally on my 3rd wind and lift.

He spat up a whole blue mau mau he had just taken before my jig.

Any jig would have worked at that second.

Went on out and picked up a few more pretty much at our leisure so a great new years evening with my  "cost effective"  jigs.

We finnished early (maybe 8pm) and I think the bite was really ramping up around then.

I also got some of the $12 torpedo7 ones and they look good and took fish.

One is a long slim look and the other more traditional.

I ordered some more yesterday after trying them.

yes those ones are River to Sea and work well.

I got two styles of river to sea, the slider some of which were in 400grms for $15! and a more traditional style river to sea also.
Great bang for the buck I think.

The one I have yet to try is the little fat one in my above link, it came unrigged for $6.00......I am out tonight and have some rigged to run.

Ah I looked at those, laidback.

They look a little like the zest long thin styles.

I know the slider hits the bottom hard enough to bend the the jig with the 300gm one.

It's nice to have some fast jigs for when the wind is up and you want to stay straight up and down in 100m.

I took two decent fish on that jig last week.

I am interested to try the 400grm which I got in pink.
