Anyone keen to hazard a guess at what the winning jig or Stickbait will be for the upcoming 2013 Heavy Metal Jigging and Topwater Competition in Tauranga.
 
Im going to go with my favourite jig
 
270g Daiwa Saltiga Sacrifice Stick SL in silver/macrel
 
and the winning stickbait
 
Something Nomad

My current occupation is fulltime recreational fisherman.  Need to get my fix before the stickfaces show up in force.

The Sliver Alien is always my first jig to hit the water and it's quite often the only one.  Dunno why my jig bag weighs 10kg Ouch

Well our first king released tonight at 640 on albino Bfp 140gram went 20kg on our sling! Dam ruler wasn't with us as on way down with Jono and Heath and I'm site briefing was no wear near over so it's not going to count! Looking forward to tomoro!!! Tight lines!
