Hi. Can anyone tell me what the max drag for the older jigstar 250g is? The one with the metal alps reel seat that always comes loose. And has any one snapped one and what kind of drag were they running when they did. I just got a second hand pe5 but cant get a rod for it just yet with out running the risk of having to get a divorce and I have one of these in the rod rack.

Cheers

im sure it will be fine for normal people drag... there is no need to get ridicules when it comes to drag as many people do.. all depends on how you fight the fish, it will handle unreal drag with a shallow angle
