Hey guys,
Got amate Im getting into jigging, have had all my gear for ages and a bit out of touch with the entry level gear options. He's looking at $1000 combo, Im thinking saltist 30t for overhead and maybe sustain 10000 for spin on an ocean devil rod.
Has anyone used a sustain for jigging? Would that be the best spin option around that cheaper end of reels?

Hey Blayne, I have used the 10K Sustain for both jigging & top water spin very good reel. I must admit I have upgraded to Stella 8K for jigging & 10K for top water. But have caught Kings upto 18Kg on the Sustain.
Cheers Pete

I use the sustain 10k for jigging for kings, nice little reel, and lite so you can jig all day too, but good power when you need it..
