Hey Kane ( and anyone else),
Where does the new Dauntless Reel fit in to the whole scheme of things?
Kinda understand the Fury being a single drag version of the Boss Extreme reels, but how does the Dauntless fit in?

Thx in advance..

just a general all round upgrade according to the Charkbait guys in LA who showed me one today. The freespool is amazing; the guy gave it a flick and it just kept on spinning with like zero decelleration. They cost about two hundred US dollars more than the Boss Extreme equivalent, which I am told is no longer in production.

Hi,
They are like a BX2 but with dawgs.
Only available in 2 speed at this stage.
Twin drag.
Not aimed at jigging, more live baits and or trolling lures, Puka etc.
Very tough reels per size, perfect for those wanting to ditch the old 50-80w and mono setups for something a bit more modern.
The yanks are using them on the long range boats targeting big tuna's.............

Kane, have a word in Ben's ear about releasing these as a single speed reel in the Narrow 400 500 and 600 frames... and with the AV seal kits .... They look a very robust reel with the bigger shaft sizes. I know Accurate has one of the best heat treatments procedures for their gears, shafts and dog pawls.

Don't worry I have been. It will happen.
I also have some of the dawg side plates here. I can build or upgrade any accurate reel into a 2 speed triple dawg in 400n, 500n and 600nn. In slammers and standard BX's. With the seal kit.
I can also build these two speeds into single speeds, but they do retain the 2 speed side plate and are slightly wider than a standard single speed BX.
PM me if your interested.
