Actually we, team Poseidon spend 2 hrs trolling with a couple of lures out for a marlin. Nothing seen, water green...but we did score 16 skippies (probably should have put one back in live)

And it was...well done to all who got amongst them. Again some great fish taken on the light stuff. I bet you felt a little under-gunned when that marlin bit your kingi livebait Saltiga...wishing you were using 10 not 6 I guess

Haha yeah sure did, was a bit of fun playing a stripey on 6kg for 3.5 hours especially hooking it at the tea pot!! had a few chances but leader was just bit short and fish was still green as after 3 hours.  was another good comp and congrates to luke for taking out the Diomedea cup and the heaviest king well deserved.

july it will all be back on for the kingfish comp

We had a sneaky look for a couple of hours, out to 125 off the cav's, running 3 10s and some skippy gear. No skippies but found a strong current line at 120 with a noticeable colour change, very clean and bluish. I reckon they are still there, and you proved that
