I'm up in NY at the moment, and the snakehead just featured on primetime news... Typical over-reaction, you'd think they'd just overrun Central Park - but in reality they'd be lucky to find one!

In Malaysia, we have many species of snakehead.
Here are the three I know about(the ones you can catch on rod and reel)
Striped Snakehead (Channa striata)
Malay name: Ikan Haruan

Giant Snakehead(Channa Micropeltes)
Malay name: Ikan Toman

Ocellated Snakehead(Channa Pleuropthalma)
Malay name: Ikan Toman Bunga
Indonesian name: Ikan Kerandang

Let me know if I have missed out on some!
