In case anyone didn't notice http://www.marine-deals.co.nz/shimano-backbone-elite-15-24kg-popper-rod-7-7-2pc I'd be tempted, if I hadn't just spent all my spare cash. They also have orca stickbaits and waxwings on special. And, probably because I bought a different set last week, Jarvis Walker split ring pliers for 9.99. |

I had one of those as my very first top water rods. Wasn't long before I upgraded.....thankfully! |
