As I'm in my senior years and don't have a smart ass computer wiz living at home any more can
someone enlighten me on how #Mega works, and as a chippie have problems on moving large plans
through the internet and would this site help me.

its a file sharing site...for sharing movies and other files....so depends onw hat you want it for, if you have dial up forget it..be to slow for up and downloading

Not just for movies, but yes you could up load your plans and send a link for to who ever and they would be able to download them.

In a nutshell.

maybe easier sites and utilities such as drop box, sky drive, google drive etc...

There is also dedicated email attachment solutions, such as yousendit. I'm not sure about Microsoft, but it works a treat in Mozilla Thunderbird (thats an email program)

You can only access data on mega with the code, which the person loading the data on has.

had a play with it today- as others have said use cloud/skydrive or some other service- plenty other sites out there to get info and so forth
