Comments:  3.5hour fight, daiwa sl20sh reel! Samuel did a fantastic job, for an 8yr old to drive a 6meter boat for 3.5hrs  by the end he was driving on it like a pro! circling round when it went under the boat then coming up on it perfectly with out needing instruction after the first 2 hours, then helping to secure it at boatside despite being terrified by all the thrashing and splashing! he must be in the running for skipper of the year!

Fight took 25 minutes and was everything I imagined it would be. Harness broke about 1/2 way through fight.

Sitting in the office dreaming of Next game Season, thought I would finally put up some pics of our Season this year. Had a pretty decent year and cracked a few Marlin Cherries for the Boys!

First for the Year was a 90.4Kg Stripey to my Mate Thomas. Popping His Marlin Cherry.

Second was a Nice Big 265.4kg Blue for Myself, Caught While Fishing the Nationals

Next was Another Stripey caught Just off the Manukau Bar in 60m of Water, went 95kg and another Cherry Popped for my mate Sam.

Final Game Fish for the year was a 128.4kg Sword caught on the Garden Patch in May.

So a Pretty Decent year for the boys on my boat!! All caught out of a Surtees 5.5m apart from the Blue which was caught on a Charter boat Reel Passion, where we released another 5 stripy's.

Just Dreaming on how we can do it Better next year
