i always thought that the reel had like a freshwater reel, with no drag...

then i was chatting  to a man who told me about mark k. knuckles after fighting a YF...targeting king's i bought a alvey with a drag so i wouldnt get into the same spot as him...is this legal?

Anything is legal.

Only sado masochists fish SWF with no drag on their reel.

When buying a SWF reel check the drag first. Should be strong at the upper end.

A lot of Kiwi SWF is "lock up and hang on". Strong drags are essential.

i got the alvey fly reel and the best thing about it , anti reverse and no knukle bashing have a standard reel but rearly use it the system 2 is an awesome reel had 1 as well but someone needed it more than me and took it away without leaving his details. son of a ..........
