Is the mould closed tightly? are you trying to pour it to fast? is the lead heated up nice n runny?
should have no problems..keep the stream of molten lead at a steady rate, like sex aim for the hole and keep it nice and steady do not rush it...

Couple of times we have done it, payed to pour quicker, else the lead dries over the little holes in the mould leaving half formed sinkers Angry

I make heaps and have lots of moulds. I'd have a guess and say the lead isn't hot enough or/and the mould isn't hot enough. I heat the mould over the lead for a while. Once you've made a few in the mould it will be warm enough to keep going. When you stop to melt more lead leave the last sinker/s in the mould to help keep it hot.

yes thats it krow. mould is not hot enough.. i have found adding printers lead  mixed in helps to make them harder and more heavy. as far as i have found..should really weigh them to find out

Neither do any of mine. Steady hand and flow. I cook on a gas camp stove (very hot) and use a ladle.
