Ok..this thread has been up for nearly an hour and no one has commented??

I therefore assume you have all printed this off and headed off to a "private" place so you can be alone with your thoughts......bad bad men!!!!!

I hear that the TYRs' are going to be available in 10,15,20,30 and 50 sizes...the 10 should be a great little lite tackle beastie.....

Buggar and I've just bought a Torium.

Wonder how it will cast being a lever drag?

no twospeed, 5.0:1 ratio ok for a jig reel, but may be difficult to crank hard on a big fish - possible corrosion issues with the diecast aluminium?

I like the ratcheting lever drag though.. the double dogs, and the improved corrosion resistance bearings.

cheers - dustin

They sure do look sexy.  Pity about them being die cast.  And you wonder why they haven't made them topless.   What's the price range Terry?   I hear that these are going to be expensive - much more than torium range.  That true?

I'll be interested to compare them up against an Avet.

The 2 speeds are in the shops now. The TYR20II and TYR30II. Fingers crossed I will have a TYR30II in my possession next week.
