Wanting to get in a bit more casting practice this winter and thought rather than throwing a sinker out and bring it back any sort of surface lure might be worth a try.

Can throw 85 - 180 grams with the rod selections I have.  Would prefer the heavier side so 160 - 180grams.

Figure if I'm get 120 - 150 +/- meters when casting sinkers, covering that with a lure would could be more fun

Just finding it hard to track one that heavy down, so wondering if anyone has any recomendations.

Otherwise might have to try carving one.

Leading contender at the moment is a Pakula Dojo, but it's not really the sorta action/lure I want.

Oh an my ability to "work" the lure is severly restricted.  again it's more for casting practise.

Got a few Orion sinking Nambas in that weight range.
Not just good for casting but also good for catching and so easy to work

What type of lure are you looking for spinner popper stick bait or a chugger
