Hello
I was hoping to get some feedback from those who have had experience with both the Senator and Kiwikraft boats.
Looking at importing either the Senator 580HT or KiwiKraft 590 Sport Soft top to Western Australia.

There doesn't seem to be alot of info online about the Senators?

The Kiwkraft seems to come with more stanadard features but the Senator has the HT, which would you chose.
I like the look and design of the Senator but I am really interested in the difference in ride and build quality.

Appreciate any help and feedback.
Cheers
John

only had experience in the bigger brother, senator 680 ht. Very good ride and handling, very good build quality as well.
Only negative is it seems to be very noisy on the water at rest, booming and slapping. A characteristic of pontoons I think.

Thanks Shrekky, appreciate the feedback.
The photo's I have seen so far look pretty good for both boats the main difference being
I can get the Senator HT for a similar price to the KiwiKraft ST.
There seems to be a bit more info about the Kiwikraft on the web, they are a bigger company though?

Hi Ive  been researching pootoon boats for 2 years after three trips to nz and coutless boat tests, stabi, kiwikraft osprey, proifile, senator & aqualite. they all have good & bad points stabi pound into the sea, kiwikraft get air born to easy, osprey & aqualite to dear. I have been thru three of the factorys Stabi is by far the biggest, all the others are small except Senator. 10-15 employees and by far the easiest to deal with. profile and senator are basically the same boats . ride in these boats is incredible. after countless phone calls & emails I have now bought A SENATOR RH650 arriving mid april. If you require any more information about these boats or importing these boats please give me a call.

if possible measure the arreas that are important to you eg width and length of cockpit or cabin could even be interesting to measure lenghth of boats ity may be suprising the numbers on boats dont allways seem to be what you think.that way you will know how much room etc
