This Fish was caught in the Musandam in Oman.

Caught using:
Rod: Race Point 200
Reel: Stella 20000
Line: Tuff Line XP 100lb
Lure: Alua 140g

This rod is pure power and works a stick bait perfectly

Thats A bute,

They are one of the best kg for kg fighting fish I have caught, and they are the one of the best to hunt.

I have been to Fiji, Samoa, Thailand , and Tonga and the best i was able to do was 33kg  so good on you congrats they are fishing at it's best .

I was fishing with Ocean Active.
The Musandam is an amazing place. Southern Oman is the place to fish at the moment 50kg+ GTs and Amberjack are caught often. Ocean Active do trips out there to.
All i can say is that the Race Point 200 is a beast of a rod i highly recomend it. Sami has caught a few 50kg+ gts with this rod in Southern Oman, its a stick baiting rod with loads of back bone.

I have seen some of Sami's photo's of Southern Oman and also some from Ed at No Boundaries... It looks like another world, definitely on the bucket list.

Sami, knows how a a rod must be made. Since his rods have come out none have broken since i spoke to him 4 months ago, that says enough.

Just got back from Southern Oman today fishing was really slow due to really green and dirty water still mananged some gts tho other boat scored a est65kg gt yesterday a BEAST. this was my forth trip there and love the place and the fishing is usally insane and i would recomend it over mussandam. I have fished with both ocean active and no boundries and both are great opperatiors and will all ways get you fish.
