I Have an okuma Braid concept 10-15kg + 7 foot 6.....Its a pretty grunty rod for deep water soft baiting but i would like to use it for tossing small to medium poppers and smallish stickbaits and use 30 pound braid on it for kings....was thinking a Shimano stradic 6,000 or a sustain(from overseas)....anyone got any thoughts?Prefer a metal body and not too big/heavy ------------- Once the idiots turn up..Im outta here...No time for Drama Queens. |

Stradic FJ series are an absolute pleasure to use. and will easily provide you with enough grunt to sort out anything that you may hook up on the poppers or stick baits. Difference between the Stradic and the Sustain isn't a heck of a lot if you ask me. So fully depends what price you can get it for I reckon.

I think you could be right there Sam,I think in OZ they are running them out - no doubt someone in the know will chime in here...waits with anticpation The Bio is a nice reel,not sure if it was in the same league as the SW twin Power though,but I think I remember Stellajigger saying that they were not making them anymore..  ------------- as dead as dead is |
