Am thinking of visiting Norfolk in late feb early march to have a crack at their big kings and a couple of other species, anyone used a charter there they'd recommend?

I have fished with David Biggs http://www.fishingnorfolkisland.com/
and the Jackson boys http://www.jacksonsfishingcharters.com/
in Xmas 2010
Both are onto jigging for Kingi's The Jacksons are also into game trolling (the only charter op on the island that does).
The kingi's are definitely there but so are the bronze whalers. Best Kingi I got was 17kg's with the Jackson's at a spot about 20 k's offshore, at the aptly named jig grave yard. I snapped a jigstar 400 when I got impatient with a bronzie.
Had some enjoyable inshore bottom fishing with Dave for the likes of sweetlips and various little groper-type things that look like ole man hapuku. They cooked up good.
I would happily fish with either of these crowds again.
I ran into a guy from Norfolk this xmas in Niue of all places who said The Jacksons were considering shifting to Aussie and that Dave (who was building a new boat when I was there) was having boat troubles. I hope you get good sea consitions as often it is too rough to well out, where the barred cod, game fish and better jigging is.

Dave Bigg has just got a new boat going this last year, a real humdinger.
I can strongly recommend Dave, Charter Marine, the phone number is on the boat there.... :-)
