So i got a couple of Starwalker lures for christmas and want to know how to rig them please? I have a stella 10k and not far away from getting the rod, but need some hooks as well :=)
Do I just put a couple of trebles on or is there a better way? Any specific size?
cheers

i recently brought a starwalker and i am going to rig it with owner spilt rings and owner st66 trebles in 3/0 or 4/0 to see which ones swim best.

some like to rig them with single hooks on the back etc etc, or singles back to back in a bakers rig..

google search or have a look at nomad or www.gtpopping.com  forums for lots of different ideas and ways of rigging.

Looking at the size the lure comes in I would suggest ST66 in 2/0 or 3/0. ST66 4/0's may be a good option in rough conditions.

As Alan has mentioned some inline singles may also be a good option.

Try  http://gofish.co.nz/VIPER.html - http://gofish.co.nz/VIPER.html  for inline single hooks that won't break the bank, unsure on their quality maybe some one on the board has used them?

You will need to find what works for you and the lure to get the best out of it, remember to crush the barbs and hold on!
