Hey guys

New to fish finders, looking to get one for the boat. I'm think bout getting the Lowrance Elite DSI. Been reading up bout the DSI just wonder if anyone has got one and tell me the pro's and cons. There's heaps of fish finders on the market, could someone recommend me one, like the best one for around a grand.

Thanks

m.n.g.    Have hada 620 wth a 1kw tranducer setup but they are no where as good on definition@ clarity as the bigger brother in a 585 furuno.  Not sure how the DSI is related to the HDS lowrance but if its broadband as well then they are the next step up, even wth a 600w transducer.   I have a furuno 7000 wth 1kw trnsdr, but if upgrading would now go to a HDS 8-10.  Price is always a killer tho!!
